Nos conseils pour bien entretenir sa perruque.

During and after certain treatments, the skin may become drier, more sensitive or more reactive. The face, the area around the eyes, the hands, the nails and the scalp may also require special care.

During these times, the aim is to adopt a simple, gentle skincare routine. Discover our tips for maintaining your skin’s comfort on a daily basis with suitable products.

Follow a simple skincare routine

When the skin is delicate, it is best to avoid overly complex routines. Gentle cleansing, thorough moisturising and suitable protection are sufficient.

After cleansing, apply your moisturiser to clean skin without rubbing. The eye area deserves special attention: the skin there is thinner and may be more prone to dryness and discomfort. A specific treatment, such as the Eye Cream, can be applied gently in the morning and/or evening.

For very dry skin, it may be helpful to supplement this routine with a more nourishing treatment such as the Gentle Nourishing Cream. The key is to listen to your skin and adjust the frequency of your skincare routine according to its needs.

The right thing to do: moisturise regularly

Rather than waiting until your skin feels tight, remember to moisturise regularly. Apply your cream morning and evening, and reapply to particularly dry areas as and when necessary.

Also avoid excessively hot water and rubbing, which can make dryness and discomfort worse.

Don’t forget your body, hands and nails

Dry skin can also affect your arms, legs, hands or feet. Applying an emollient cream daily helps to keep your skin supple and comfortable. It’s particularly beneficial to do this after a shower, whilst your skin is still slightly damp.

Hands and nails can also become more brittle. To protect them, avoid harsh handling and remember to moisturise your cuticles regularly. A specialised oil can be used as part of your skincare routine if your nails are dry, brittle or splitting.

Support the regrowth of eyelashes, eyebrows and hair

The loss of hair, eyelashes and eyebrows can be a particularly noticeable side effect of certain treatments. Beyond the aesthetic aspect, these changes can affect one’s self-image and require a new skincare routine. During the regrowth phase, suitable products help to care for these delicate areas and support their gradual regrowth.

The Eyelash and Eyebrow Regrowth Kit combines two complementary treatments to support the growth of eyelashes and eyebrows. Its Infini-Cils treatment features a dual mascara and eyeliner applicator and is applied to the affected areas. Its high-tolerance formula is suitable for sensitive or allergy-prone eyes. The Ultracapil serum completes this routine.

The scalp may also require special care during periods of hair loss or regrowth. The Ultracapil Anti-Hair Loss Serum is designed to be used as a three-month course of treatment. Its formula, comprising 90 per cent naturally derived ingredients, helps to minimise hair loss and stimulate regrowth whilst caring for the scalp. The Ultracapil treatment can also be used whilst wearing a wig.

A hypoallergenic make-up range for the complexion and eyes

Make-up can help to achieve a more even complexion or reshape your eyebrows, without necessarily using a lot of products.

Start with well-moisturised skin, then apply a light layer of make-up base. For sparse eyebrows, a few fine strokes will gradually help to recreate their shape. If you have enough eyelashes, a mascara suitable for sensitive eyes can simply enhance your eyes.

The most important thing is not to overload the skin. Opt for comfortable textures, avoid rubbing, and remove your make-up gently at the end of the day.

Key tips to remember

Sensitive skin, above all, requires gentle and consistent care. To look after your skin on a daily basis:

• Choose products designed for sensitive skin

• Moisturise your skin regularly

• Avoid exfoliants and overly abrasive treatments when your skin is sensitive

• Take particular care of the eye area, hands and nails

• Adapt your routine to changes in your skin

• Remove make-up without rubbing

• If you experience an unusual or persistent reaction, seek advice from a healthcare professional
